Product name :Lobelia flower extract (Lobelia chinensis extract;ban bian lian extract).
Ingredient: The whole herb contains many kinds of alkaloids. The main ones are: lobeline, lobelanine, isolobelanine, lobelanidine and also contains saponins, flavanoids, and reaction of amino acid.
Function :The whole plant is antiphlogistic, antirheumatic ,cathartic, depurative, diuretic and febrifuge. A decoction is used in the treatment of sores and abscesses, poisonous snakebites, tooth abscesses, ascites and traumatic injuries. The fresh plant can also be crushed and used as a poultice. The root is antirheumatic, antisyphilitic, cathartic, depurative and diuretic.
contains the alkaloid lobeline which has a similar effect upon the nervous system as nicotine[274].
Being used as antpyretic, diuretics, cirrhosis with edema, nephritis with edema, late stage schistosomiasi with edema, tonsilitis, appendicitis, and for poisonous snake bite.
External use in injuries from impacts, carbuncles and hard furuncles.
