Character: It is purplish red powder and has special sweet smell. It is showing red color when it in the PH:1-3.5, if its' PH>3.5, it will show: violet color; When PH:7, it is red-brown and PH>7, it is show green. It is very stable when it in the acidity condition. It soluble in water and alcohol, but not soluble in plant oil & others.
It have well heat-resisting (100C, 30min, have 80%), light-resisting, salt-resisting.

Produce method: Used food grade alcohol and water to extract then pass column ion exchange resin to separate.

Certificate of analysis:
1. Color value: PH 3.0 Citric acid buffer solution, 1cm, 520nm.
2. Total flavone: shisonin and total volatile oil: perilladehyde 2-6%, By UV and GC.

Use Limit: It is used as natural food red color such as : Fruit juice; soft drink; wine; cake; candied fruit and biscuit etc.

Its' other chemical contents have health functions for human, such as : sedation; reduce temperature; facilitate digestive juice secretory; anti-oxidize; anti-microorganism; anti-blood coagulation; anti-mutagenesis; rise blood sugar and so on.

LD50: <10mg/kg( mouse injection)
