Chlorella Pyrenoidosa
Chlorella is a green algae, and belongs to the eucaryote cell category of algae. The name Chlorella derives from two Latin words meaning 'leaf' (green) and 'small'. Its size is about that of a human erythrocyte; i.e .between 2-8 microns in diameter.
Throughout its 2~4 billion year history on this planet, it has survived because its tough outer shell protected its genetic integrity, and it is one of the most efficient foods on earth in using and concentrating sunshine, as shown by its high chlorophyll content and rapid reproduction.
Chlorella Ingredients:
To be referring to the unusually high content of chlorophyll which gives Chlorella its characteristic deep emerald-green color. Chlorella is also rich in protein, vitamins, minerals, "CGF" (Chlorella Growth Factor) and other beneficial substances. It is considered to be the most complete nutrient that nature has to offer.
Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF):
Chlorella provides a wide array of vitamins, minerals and amino acids, as well as being the highest-known source of chlorophyll. While these are all beneficial, the greatest value of chlorella lies in a fascinating ingredient called Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF).
CGF is a nucleotide-peptide complex derived from a hot water extract of chlorella. It is made mostly of nucleic acid derivatives. Researchers have discovered that CGF is produced during the intense photosynthesis that endue with chlorella unsurpassed growth capabilities. Each cell multiplies into four new cells about every 20 hours, and CGF promotes this rapid rate of reproduction.
Experiments with microorganisms, animals and children have shown that CGF promotes faster than normal growth without adverse side effects, and in adults, it appears to enhance RNA/DNA functions responsible for production of proteins, enzymes and energy at the cellular level, stimulating tissue repair and protecting cells against some toxic substances.
Chlorella is exactly that type of food. Humans benefit from CGF through increased longevity, and overall improved health.
DNA/RNA Content:
The researcher found levels of 10% RNA and 3% DNA in chlorella, which would make chlorella the highest-known food substance in nucleic acids. Used regularly, chlorella would assist in the repair of damaged genetic material in human cells, protecting health and slowing down the aging process.
Nucleic acids in digestion and assimilation are broken down and combined with other nutrients such as vitamin B-12, peptides and polysaccharides. That means that the DNA and RNA we eat do not directly replace human cellular DNA and RNA, but their amino acid combinations after digestion and assimilation immediately provide the "building blocks" for repair of our genetic material.
As people age, cell processes slow down. The cell wall, which regulates fluids, intake of nutrients and expulsion of wastes, becomes less functional. Nutrient intake is less efficient and more toxic wastes remain in the cells. This leads to an increasing acidic condition in the body that favors many kinds of chronic and degenerative diseases. When we have a sufficient intake of foods rich in DNA and RNA to protect our own cellular nucleic acids, the cell wall continues to function efficiently, keeping the cell clean and well nourished.
When our RNA and DNA are in good repair and able to function most efficiently, our bodies are able to use nutrients more effectively, get rid of toxins and avoid disease. Cells are able to repair themselves, and the energy level and vitality of the whole body is raised.
Benefits of Chlorella:
- Improves bowel function by stimulating peristaltic movement;
- Stimulates the growth of beneficial aerobic bacteria in the gut;
- Has anti-fungal, anti-viral, and anti-parasitic properties;
- Selectively binds to heavy metals (cadmium, mercury, lead);
- Promotes cell reproduction;
- Reduces cholesterol due to high omega-3 content;
- Increases hemoglobin levels;
- Helps to support and repair organs and tissues that have been injured by a variety of physical, chemical, and emotional traumas;
- Reduces high blood pressure;
- Stimulates interferon production;
- Has anti-tumor and immune enhancing activity;
- Protein content makes it an excellent blood sugar balancer;
- Is one of the best jing stimulators (Jing is a term from Chinese medicine that refers to the body’s ability to have vitality, resist disease, and increase longevity);
Chlorella and The Five Elements
Chlorella is superb for peristalsis and the digestive system. Chlorella acts to tonify the large intestine and metal element. By tonifying the metal element energy is transferred in two important directions. First it creates an energy flux to the water element enhancing function to the kidney/bladder organ meridians. It also controls energy to the wood element affecting the function of the liver/gallbladder organ meridians.
(Broken cell-wall chlorella, is nearly twice as digestible as other chlorella.)
